It may not the cheapest laser printer, but you will get undoubted quality of clean black letters or great graphics for the professional manuscript. It is also provide solid performance, good manageability, solid technical support and no-fuss design.

Feature

This HP 1320 LaserJet is monochrome laser printer with compact design which is suitable for home or office purpose . Weigh at 25 pounds and have cubical dimension for 14�x14�x10� which is fit nicely on your desk with its two-tone gray casing and salmon- and teal- colored buttons.

The printing speed is awesome for about 22ppm for text and 13ppm for graphics in the best quality mode. This printer can do that because of the supporting 16MB of memory which can be expanded until 144MB.

The HP 1320 LaserJet is offer built-in duplexer, option model for wired or wireless networking, and high maximum resolution for grayscale graphics (600x600 dpi). With built-in duplexer, you just wait the document is printed on both side of paper with no effort to flip the sheet one by one. As an option, there is the single-user 1320 which none of connectivity purpose except the USB2.0 port connection with old-fashioned parallel port. If you need multi-user printer, choose the 1320n which is network ready for $100 more or the 1320nw with preinstalled Wi-Fi at $549.

You will get 250-sheet input drawer slide neatly into the HP 1320 LaserJet's body and the printed result is out from the top panel of the printer. The input tray is designed for multi-purpose. You can print letterhead and envelope at one time or print heavy media with just open the output door on the back panel and your print result will be there without curling.

This LaserJet Printer is compatible with Mac or Windows. And the installation process is quite simple . HP has packaged this HP1320 Laserjet Printer with the HP's Toolbox software which allows Web interface system to handle problems and manage the printer's supplies, status, and configuration. As for information if there is something worng with the printer, this software will send you a notification email.

Cons

As for cons factor, it is come from the added cost for larger input tray or networking feature. As mention before, if you need to connect the printer to the network, it will cost you more. And this HP 1320 LaserJet can be expanded for extra 250-sheet for another $150 in order to have 500-sheet capacity.

And if you want to connect this printer for multiuser purpose, you have to add a print server. The utility which HP develops cannot work without the print server. Although, that utility can put the drivers on an office intranet so that the users can hook themselves up to the printer.

Conclusion

This HP 1320 LaserJet Printer is compact and gives the essential need of the monochrome printer. It is not always use the color laser printer. If your printing job mostly used only B&W color why should you spend more cost? Find the reliable and quiet performance form the HP 1320 LaserJet printer.
